Galveston Island Historic Homes Tour Draws Record 12,000 Visitors Over Spring Weekend

The Galveston Historical Foundation's annual Historic Homes Tour drew a record 12,000 visitors over the weekend, surpassing last year's attendance by 22%. This year's tour featured 14 Victorian-era homes in the East End Historic District, including three properties that had never been open to the public before. Proceeds fund preservation grants for historic Galveston properties.
