The Galveston Historical Foundation announced the completion of a $3.2 million restoration of Bishop's Palace, one of the most iconic Victorian mansions in the United States, and its reopening to the public with new interactive exhibits on the 1900 Storm and the Gresham family history. The restoration included structural repairs, roof replacement, and the restoration of original stained glass windows.
