The University of Texas Medical Branch announced a first-in-the-nation partnership with a Houston AI startup to deploy real-time stroke detection software in its emergency department. The system analyzes CT scans in under 60 seconds and has already helped identify three stroke patients who may have otherwise been missed during the pilot phase.
