Port of Galveston Sets Single-Day Passenger Record With 28,000 Cruise Guests

The Port of Galveston set a new single-day passenger record Thursday when four cruise ships — Carnival Breeze, Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas, Norwegian Getaway, and Disney Wonder — all departed on the same day carrying a combined 28,000 passengers, surpassing the previous record of 24,200 set in 2024.
