TxDOT Announces $680M I-45 Interchange Rebuild at League City Parkway

The Texas Department of Transportation announced a $680 million project to rebuild the I-45 interchange at League City Parkway, one of the most congested intersections in Galveston County. The project will add direct connectors, collector-distributor roads, and a new frontage road system. Environmental review begins this summer with construction expected to start in 2028.
