Friendswood Police Arrest Suspect in Series of Overnight Burglaries Targeting Jewelry Stores

Friendswood Police arrested a 26-year-old man Thursday after linking him through surveillance footage to a series of smash-and-grab burglaries at four jewelry stores in Friendswood, Pearland, and League City over the past two weeks. Detectives recovered approximately $180,000 in stolen jewelry from the suspect's vehicle. He faces four counts of felony burglary of a building.
